Projects are billed hourly, with invoicing at the end of a project or at agreed-upon checkpoints for larger projects. After the introductory consultation, I’ll provide an estimated timeline so you know what to expect before we begin.

Kjaerhaus (pronounced care-house) combines my last name, “Kjaer,” rooted in a Scandinavian word meaning dear or cherished, with “haus,” meaning house. Together, it reflects the intention behind my work: creating spaces that feel calm, cared for, and thoughtful.

Yes! I handle the removal of small unwanted items through donation drop-offs whenever possible. For larger items like furniture and appliances, I recommend contacting Habitat for Humanity or similar non-profit organizations that pick up.

I also make an effort to reduce waste by offering items to the community for free, typically by listing on Facebook Marketplace or the Nextdoor app for curbside pickup.

It’s preferred, especially during the decluttering and decision-making process. That said, I can be flexible depending on the type of project and your schedule.

When needed, I recommend and source organizing products tailored to your space and goals. All product decisions are discussed with you before purchasing.
